Funeral date for the late Madam Georgina Oppong has been postponed.
The late Madam Georgina Oppong also known as Auntie Georgina, died aged 74 and was the mother of Hon. Francis Asenso-Boakye, the Minister for Works and Housing and a former Deputy Chief of Staff at the Office of the President.
It would be recalled that earlier this year on Monday, January 11, 2021, the one week celebration for the late Madam Georgina Oppong was held at the Bantama Presby School Park in Ashanti Region.
However, the family notes that new arrangement with regards to the funeral are being made and promised to get the general public posted when they set it.
In an official statement copied to Wontumionline.com, family for Madam Georgina Oppong noted that the new date for her funeral would be communicated soon.
