Amansie South DCE Weeps Over Poor Road Network In The District

Hon. Clement Kwame Poku- Gyasi, DCE for Amansie South has reiterated that the area’s major challenge is the poor road network.

He said that, most of the 56 communities in the District lack quality road network.

Hon. Kwame Poku Gyasi in an Interview on Election 2020 on Wontumi TV/Radio said that, before the creation of the Amansie South District, in the Manso Adubia Constituency, the Common Fund allocation was limited to developing only one district hence development was restricted.

“However, with the creation of my district it has created room for the Common Fund allocation to benefit more communities in the three districts. It sounds good that more communities are getting their fair share of the common Fund. He said.

According to him, President Akufo-Addo did a yeoman’s job for creating the Amansie South District.

He noted that, for the past two years the number of projects that have been constructed in the area are overwhelming.

He affirmed that, by the end of President Akufo-Addo’s second tenure more communities in the area would have benefitted from the government’s development agenda,

Some of the achievements the Hon. DCE demonstrated on Wontumi TV/Radio are in the areas of the construction of:

District Police administration block at Manso-Adubia
