Hon. Ama Pomaa Inspires Teachers, Students At Juaben, Calls For Stronger PTA Collaboration

 

The Member of Parliament for Juaben constituency, Hon Ama Pomaa Boateng has called for a stronger collaboration between teachers, parents and all stakeholders in the area.

Her call was aimed at giving pupils and students in the area an all round training which will positively impact their lives in future.

Hon Ama Pomaa Boateng, MP for Juaben and Deputy minister designate for Communications presenting some of the items to officials from the Education Directorate.

Addressing the media after a working visit to some educational facilities in her constituency on Monday, May 24, 2021, the third time MP noted that a stronger collaboration between all stakeholders is best for grooming patriotic and God fearing children for the nation.

“When all Parents, teachers, religious leaders, NGOs and individuals come to together to train the child, we put in them the correct measure of discipline and values they need to make our constituency and the nation proud”. She noted.

The MP addressed the media after paying a working visit to some schools in her constituency.

The visit was to assess at first hand the challenges facing teachers and learners in the schools and also offer some support to mitigate their plights.

This was in partial fulfillment of her 2020 campaign to be re-elected as MP for the area.

Among the schools she visited were Juaben M/A Primary School, Juaben Islamic Schools and some schools at Adumasa.

DONATION TO DIRECTORATE
She also paid a visit to the Municipal Education Directorate of Juaben.

Hon Pomaa donated about 1000 dual desks to the selected schools.

She also donated computers to the Juaben Municipal Education Directorate and other IT logistics to St. Sabastian Catholic SHS at Adumasa.

Again, the MP promised as part of her donations to give GH10,000 to all teachers in the municipality through the education office and another GH10,000 to the Education Office.

The Municipal Director of Education Engineer Adu Kumi, who received the items expressed gratitude to the MP for keeping to her promise and even promising to do more.
