Member of Parliament for Juaben and Deputy Minister for Communications and Digitalization, Hon Ama Pomaa Boateng spent her weekend with the people of Duampompo and adjoining towns within the enclave.
The MP, having identified some 30 petty traders supported them with some undisclosed cash amounts to enable them to expand their businesses.
She also provided sewing machines for some youth who are into fashion and cloth designs.
Hon Pomaa supported 80 drivers who ply the route of Duampompo and Bomfa-Achiase with some fuel coupons.
DISCUSSIONS:
Drivers at Duampompo appealed to the MP for the construction of the Duampompo- Amangoase to Boamadumase road.
The drivers noted that the bad nature of the road delays their journeys.
This, they noted affects their output since they are unable to make good sales as fuel consumption takes a large chunk of what they make at the end of the day.
NPP executives at Duampompo and Boamadumase applauded the MP for her hard work but appealed to her to ensure government projects at Juaben, especially in their areas were completed on schedule to make the party attractive to the electorate.
RESPONSES:
Answering the questions, Hon Pomaa assured the drivers of work on the bad roads in their communities.
She noted that but for financial constraints the road should have been done, revealing that it has been awarded to a contractor.
The MP appealed to the drivers as well as the community folks to support her with prayers as she lobbies for more projects to the communities to enhance the living standards and development of Juaben.
“I urge you to pray for me as you also support the NPP government to provide facilities and job opportunities for our people to make their lives better” Hon Pomaa appealed.
