Chairman Wontumi says he chanced upon Alan Kyeremanten and Alfred Mahama at Golden Tulip hotel in Kumasi plotting against the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
“Today you have become Judas and joined Mahama to reduce our vote. You want to negotiate should there be a runoff”, The Ashanti regional Chairman of the NPP said.
Chairman Wontumi stated that he picked up signal last Saturday that Alan Kyeremanten was going to meet the brother of former President John Mahama at the hotel so he went there to witness it with his own eyes.
He called Alan Kyeremanten an ingrate for ditching the NPP and working with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to sabotage the party.
“We have helped you before; the party made you an ambassador. And three times the party gave you the Ministry of Trade. Add the years you have enjoyed those positions and after, subtract it from your age, you will realize that we have really helped you”.
