Ghana winger Samuel Owusu has started training after recovering from a stomach ache which forced his early substitution in Al-Ahli’s defeat to Damac last weekend.
The 24-year-old did not return from the break after complaining of stomach pains with his side leading 3-1. He scored twice before halftime but a second-half collapse saw Al-Ahli lose 4-3.
Owusu has fully recovered and joined group training on Tuesday as the team prepares for their next game against Al Nasr.
The tricky winger has been outstanding for the Saudi giants since joining on loan from Al Fayha in the summer transfer window.
He has scored three goals in five games for the club, prompting calls for him to be handed a permanent deal.
Negotiations are ongoing between the player and Al-Ahli as his current deal expires in January.
Samuel Owusu moved to Saudi Arabia after his stupendous display during the 2019 Nations Cup in Egypt.
He previously played for Serbian side Cuckaricki and Radnik Surdulica.
