Akufo- Addo’s One Million Dollars Per Constituency On Course – Joe Danquah

As part of efforts to extend development to the citizenry, the government under his flagship initiative, one million dollars per constituency, is on course as many communities benefit from the initiative.

The Middle Belt Authority which is one of the authorities instituted by government to provide physical development to the citizenry on Friday July 2, 2021 inspected the construction of an ongoing durbar ground and Astroturf park at Juabeng.

 

The team that visited the ongoing projects were Deputy Minister of Communication who doubles as Member of Parliament for Juabeng, Hon Ama Pomaah, Hon Joe Danquah, CEO for the Middle Belt Authority, Mr Vincent Frimpong Manu, Deputy CEO for Middle Belt Authority, Nana Otuo Serebour, Juabeng Omanhene.

The two projects which are being funded by the Middle Belt Authority after the inspection expressed their satisfaction.

“President Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo has delivered on his promise to Ghanaians by allocating one million dollars to each constituency for development,” Hon Joe Danquah told Wontumionline.com

He said, the one million dollars per constituency is on course hence he’s satisfied with work done by the Authority in the various communities under their jurisdiction.

The durbar ground is being named after the late Prof Adu Boahen.

In a month’s time the project will be completed.

It would be commissioned in honour of the Juabeng Omanhene, Nana Otuo Serebour’s 50th anniversary.

The Member of Parliament for Juabeng, Hon. Ama Pomaah commended the president, Nana  Akufo-Addo and the Mangers of the Middle Belt Authority for providing them with several physical development projects like markets, police station etc.

She called on the Authority to continue to extend their helping hands to other communities in the constituency to help solve their developmental plights.
