Akufo-Addo’s Administration Is Bearing Nananom’s “Cross” – Popular Chief

Etwienana Baffour Oteatuoso Kokoben II, Akwanserehene of Akyem Kwabeng, says the quality governance His Execllency President Akufo-Addo is demonstrating and his social intervention policies have taken off the burden on Chiefs in the country.

According to him, some students from poor homes used depend on the benevolence of some Chiefs before they could further their education or get employment offers but all these have become things of the past.

Nana Oteatuoso who was contributing to a panel discussion on Wontumi Radio and TV Morning Show on Wednesday morning, made reference to a comment made by the Pusiga Chief, Naaba Tambiss-Baalug Konwiag that, Akufo-Addo’s works will speak for him on December 7th and that the people of Pusiga will vote for him.

He noted, that such utterances may seem to be mere commendation but in actual fact the Pusiga Chief is witnessing the good works of the President and his government.

“ Chiefs don’t just make utterances to commend the President on his achievements rather they are witnesses of the achievements of the President.” He stressed.

Meanwhile, Nana Oteatuoso has challenged all Ministers of state to go all out to campaign for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as Hon Ursula Owusu Ekuful,  Minister for Communications is doing.

“Despite Ursula Owusu Ekuful’s Ministerial position which keeps her busy most times of the day, she is campaigning for the party.” He said

He said government appointees who are not active on the campaign trail have no excuse not to be out there to clamour for votes.

“Don’t sit in the comfort of your office and say you’re busy while Akufo-Addo who appointed you on the trail campaign.” He cautioned.

Nana Oteatuoso urged the Ministers to go out to campaign to gain an upper hand over the NDC else John Mahama will succeed in his bid to deceive Ghanaians with lies.
