The Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) is meeting with the Transport Ministry over plans to increase transport fares ended discordantly.
The Industrial Relations Officer of the Union, Abass Imoro revealed this on Wontumi TV Morning Show on Tuesday.
Abass Imoro said President Akufo-Addo called for the meeting and pleaded to meet the Union today, Tuesday 25/10/2022 to finalise the adjustment.
He reiterated that there has not been any fare increment.
The Industrial Relations Officer of the Union appealed to the members of the Union to exercise forbearance.
