Agya Koo And Friends Join Asabee In ‘’Efiemu To Efiemu’’ Campaign At Mfantseman
Some celebrities in the Ghana film industry particularly those from the Kumawood stable about three days ago joined the former Information Minister, Stephen Asamoah Boateng (Asabee) to campaign in the Mfantseman constituency of the Central Region.
The presence of the film stars added more impetus to the vigorous campaign being waged by the former Minister and former MP for the area who now heads the State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA) outfit.
During a tour of the streets in the constituency as well as homes in the Mfantseman communities, the SIGA boss joined by Agya Koo and the other stars, Mr Boateng asked residents to renew the mandate of the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on December 7.
He also asked that they vote massively to ensure the wife of the recently slain MP of Mfantseman enters Parliament to lobby for development projects for the constituency.
APPEAL:
Mr Asamoah Boateng urged residents to ensure they come out in their numbers to cast their ballots on December 7.
According to him, a vote for the NPP and its candidates would mean residents want more development and progress in the Mfantseman constituency.
Mr Boateng said being a fishing area, new programs and policies would be rolled out by the Fisheries Ministry to ensure fisher-folks enjoy the work of their hands.
Subsidies and other incentive packages, the SIGA boss noted would also be introduced so as to encourage the youth into the trade to make their lives count.
CELEBRITIES:
Speaking to residents and the youth that followed the team from the streets and homes in the constituency, Agya Koo asked that they retain the President to continue his good works for the people of Ghana for another four years.
He said the first four years of the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo administration had been used to lay the foundations of the economy.
The famous comedian was hopeful that the next four years of the government would see a total transformation of the economy if the people of Ghana would see the same and endorse the President for another term in office.
Agya Koo asked the people to honor the memory of Hon Ekow Hayford Quansah by voting massively to send the surviving wife, Ophelia Quansah to the house of laws so that she could lobby for projects just as the husband did while he was alive.
