An Economics Lecturer at the Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU), Dr Isaac Sikayena has bemoaned the unemployment situation in Ghana.
Dr Sikayena said the Ghanaian youth are graduating from the school day in and day out but there are no jobs to absorb them.
Speaking on Wontumi TV Morning Show he appealed to the government to pay attention to the agricultural sector.
He said the country is blessed with fertile lands.
He affirmed that government can use agriculture to expand the economy.
Dr Isaac Sikayena said
agricultural should be mandatory for the National Service personnel.
The Economics Lecturer said irrespective of the background of the graduates they should be forced to venture into agriculture.
