Age Is Just A Number, Kissi Agyabeng Will Succeed- Snr Lecturer Fires Amaliba
A Senior Lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science And Technology (KNUST) Dr. Emmanuel Adu Amankwah says Abraham Amaliba, member of opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) communication and legal team is just being diabolic on the Special Prosecutor- nominee, Kissi Agyabeng.
According to him, Abraham Amaliba wants to seek attention from the public.
Participating on Wontumi Radio and TV’s flagship programme, Talk Ghana, Dr. Adu Amankwah said that, age is just a number and for that matter, the Special Prosecutor-nominee will succeed.
“If Amaliba says that Kissi Agyabeng does not have the political clout to fight corruption then we should ask ourselves that did Martin Amidu had the political clout to fight corruption? President knew what he can do and appointed him but all of a sudden he resigned,” he said.
The TESCON KNUST Chief Patron emphasized that, though Kissi Agyabeng is not known in the political arena, the leaders did broader consultation before nominating him.
“What is vital is for him to start work for Ghanaians to get benefit from him. If Amaliba will complain or not what we are waiting is for him to get his office instruments,” he affirmed.
The KNUST Senior Lecturer stressed that if Kissi Agyabeng starts to prosecute the corrupt officials, the member of the NDC communications team should not make any utterance.
He said that, a lot of cases are awaiting Kissi Agyabeng and that he is optimistic he can handle them.
