The Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Public Sector Reforms, Thomas Kusi Boafo, has predicted that the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, Mr. John Mahama, would take the New Patriotic Party to court after losing the 2020 Presidential elections.
In an interview on the Wontumi Morning Show, the seasoned politician stated that the elections wouldn’t favour Mr. Mahama and the NDC, and for that reason, they have set in place an alternate plan to accuse the Electoral Commission of rigging the election and dragging the commission and President Akufo-Addo to court after the declaration.
“He (Mahama) will try taking us (NPP) to court after the 2020 elections. He will contemplate it so that he gets a reason to come back to lead the NDC after 2020”, Mr. Kusi Boafo said.
Mr. Boafo added that Mr. John Mahama will never credit defeat to himself but heap the blame on the EC.
“He will say he was cheated and accuse the EC falsely. He wants a reason to stage a comeback”, he predicted.
