Crystal Palace forward Eddie Nketiah is on the verge of officially switching his allegiance to Ghana ahead of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), set to kick off in September.
According to former Ghana Football Association (GFA) Communications Director Ibrahim Sannie Daara, the player is taking the necessary steps to make the move happen as soon as possible.
He noted that the required paperwork has already been sent to the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) for assessment and official confirmation.
Nketiah is said to be keen on the switch and hopes to complete the process quickly, with the 2027 AFCON qualifiers approaching. He is determined to give his best to the national team.
