The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor, has reiterated his commitment to serve and deliver on the mandate he has been tasked with by President Akufo-Addo.
In a one on one interview with Oheneba Asiedu on Wontumi TV, the minister noted that as part of mandate he has commenced a tour to familiarize himself with operations related to lands and natural resources.
“I am serving under a leader who doesn’t only sit in the comfort of his office but travels around the country to get firsthand information.
The job I have been tasked with is purely field work. The lands and forest are all situated outside of my ministry so I have taken it upon myself to tour the country”, Hon. Abu Jinapor said.
He further commented that his journey yielded positive results because he managed to tap into the vast knowledge Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako aka Chairman Wontumi has when it comes to mining.
According to him, he got some ‘ap)’ to wit tips on how to relate to people engaged in mining when he spent time with Chairman Wontumi.
