Operators of the Multimedia Group have been warned by the Bono Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to stop using their platform to churn “foolish” stories and setting agenda against the Akufo-Addo led government.
For some time now, the Multimedia Group comprising of Joy FM, Adom Fm, Luv FM has consistently touted themselves as ‘regime changers’- something they woeful failed to execute against the NPP during the 2020 elections.
In the matter of allowances which was recommended by the Ntiamoa-Baidu Committee and subsequently approved by Parliament to be paid to the First and Second Ladies, the Multimedia Group together with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) led the charge and put a spin on the issue.
The above development led to Mr. Kwame Baffoe aka Abronye, to warn on the Nsempa Fie show that “some media houses are feeding on blood money from John Mahama. They should sit down and do a proper analysis. When and where did Nana Addo write to Parliament for them to pay his wife?”
Just recently, the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong exposed Multimedia Group by stating that they are bent on destroying the Akufo-Addo led government because they claim they don’t receive any form of booty from him.
Abronye added flesh to the matter by alleging that the operators of Multimedia are “spewing rubbish” because President Nana Addo has not given in to their request of “buying them cars”.
“Stop the foolish stories you are churning out”, he warned.
