The deputy Foreign Affairs minister has accused the Member of Parliament for North Tongu of using lies to launch his 2028 presidential ambition.
Hon. Kwaku Ampratum-Sarpong in an interview on the Wontumi Morning Show, stated that the use of lies by Okudzeto Ablakwa on the recent passport fees issue, forms part of his strategy to energize the base of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
“It is his personal view and I don’t have problem with that because I know why he is doing that. He is trying to energise the base of his party to be seen to be always opposing and challenging government because he has 2028 presidential ambition”, he said.
The Member of Parliament for Mampong Constituency continued that stories fabricated by his colleague MP on the passport fees story, shows clearly that he has a personal agenda of deliberately twisting everything that comes from the sitting government.
“Because of his personal agenda, he will always twist the opinion of government in the eyes of the public even if his party members are not happy with it”, Hon. Kwaku Ampratum-Sarpong said about Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa.
