A/R: Nsuta installed New Chief After 5 Years Of  Vacancy

A 62-year-old pharmacist has been coronated as the paramount chief of Nsuta Traditional Council in the Sekyere Central District of Ashanti Region under a stool title Okokyiriahene Asamoah Gyamfi Sekyere II.

Mr. Felix Asamoah, succeeded his brother, who died about 5 years ago.

The man was installed in front of a large crowd of people from far and near who gathered at the forecourt of Nsuta Chief’s Palace to witness the traditional occasion.

Hitherto the coronation and installation ceremony, the Nsuta royals together with the rightful occupant of the stool undertook a several traditions this dawn to pave way for the installation.

The sub chiefs and queen mothers in the Nsuta Traditional Council including the MP for Nsuta Kwamang Beposo Constituency who doubled as Dadiesoaba hemaa for Nsuta Traditional Council Hon. Adelaide Obaayaa Agyeiwaa Ntim were all part of the traditional activities that took place this dawn to usher the new chief unto the throne.

Swearing the oath of elegance to the chiefs, elders and people of Nsuta, Okokyiriahene Asamoah Gyamfi Sekyere II, the newly enstooled chief of Nsuta Traditional Council assured his people to posses confidence in him as he’s ready to serve wholeheartedly and continue the legacy and lineage of the past chiefs to restore the glory of Nsuta stool.

After the installation, Dadiesoaba hemaa for Nsuta Traditional Council Hon. Adelaide Obaayaa Agyeiwaa Ntim Okodie expressed appreciation to the kingmakers for making this happened, she explained that, this move Will propelled Nsuta to witness massive progress because it seems the absence of the chief has been an handicap and delaying their development.
