A/R: Akokofe, Amankwaadee Residents Acquire Developmental Projects
Residents of Akokofe and Amankwaadee in the Bosomtwe Constituency have finally seen the light at the end of the tunnel as they have secured a CHPS compound and mechanized borehole by the Bosomtwe District Assembly.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony of the two projects, the District Chief Executive for the area, Hon. Lawyer Joseph Kwasi Asuming noted that, the vital thing needed in life is human’s health thereby advising the residents to seek medical care from the CHPS compound anytime they are ill.
He said that, if the residents go and receive medical care at the CHPS compound, it would ginger the assembly to construct a clinic for them.
Hon. Joseph Asuming, appealed to the Akokofe and the Amankwaadee residents to take good care of both the CHPS compound and the mechanized borehole to ensure its durability.
Taking his turn, the District Director of Health Service, Timothy Twumasi Mensah stressed that, qualified health workers will work in the edifice so the residents should have faith in them and come along with their illness.
Mr. Twumasi Mensah said that, there would be a health committee to monitor the maintenance of the edifice.
The Assembly Member for the two communities, Hon. Amponsah Atobrah on behalf of the residents expressed their profound gratitude to the Bosomtwe District Assembly for the honour done them.
He said that, spending kilometers to receive medical care is now a thing of the past.
“We will do what we are supposed to do for the projects to last long,” Hon Atobrah said.
