Musician Barosky has made his return to the music scene after being spotted in the studio with renowned music producer and sound engineer Appietus.
The two were seen singing together in a video shared by Appietus on Facebook on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. The encounter comes only two days after Barosky returned to Ghana from the United Kingdom.
Barosky, whose real name is Isaac Obeng Mensah, was repatriated from Manchester on September 7 following concern over videos showing him homeless and struggling on the streets of the UK city.
His return was facilitated by the Ghanaian government after Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa confirmed that the state had covered the cost of his repatriation.
The government also indicated that Barosky would receive psychosocial support and financial assistance as he settles back into life in Ghana.
Against this backdrop, his appearance in the studio with Appietus presents a more positive development in the musician’s situation.
The brief session showed Barosky singing alongside Appietus, giving fans a glimpse of him engaging with music again after the difficult period in Manchester.
It remains unclear whether the studio meeting was a reunion between the two musicians or the beginning of a new musical project.
Appietus did not provide details about the purpose of the session or disclose whether they were recording a song.
Appietus, born Appiah Dankwah, is a respected figure in Ghana’s music industry and has produced songs for several prominent artistes.
His association with Barosky also dates back to Ghana’s highlife and hiplife music circles.
Barosky’s return to the studio could therefore signal the beginning of a fresh chapter in his music career as he readjusts to life in Ghana following his return from the UK.
