Hope Renewal Center (HORECE), a Non-Governmental Organization(NGO), committed to improving the welfare of children and other vulnerable groups, has donated 200 pairs of sandals to pupils of Asibirim DA Basic School in the Eastern Region as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting education and child welfare.
The donation was presented by Ms. Helena Asamoah on behalf of Maame Afua Akoto, Founder of Hope Renewal Center (HORECE). The initiative was aimed at providing footwear to some children who sometimes had to walk to school barefoot.
The Headmaster, Enoch Arthur, staff and the children were thankful to Horece for their kind gesture. On behalf of the children, Fiduas Mohammed, a KG 2 pupil, thanked the donors, showering praises and blessings upon them.
Maame Afua Akoto and the entire directorate of HORECE are of the view that this will encourage other organizations to realize that there are children who need support in diverse ways, big or small, to be able to achieve their potential to the fullest.
