‘You Troubled Your Father Until His Death’ – Osebo Makes Allegations Against Nana Akofena

Ghanaian fashion icon Osebo the Zaraman has made a series of allegations against Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena following an alleged shooting incident involving Akofena’s elder sister and former Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya, Sarah Adwoa Safo.

In a TikTok video shared on June 21, 2026, Osebo alleged that Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena caused his father, the late Dr Apostle Kwadwo Safo, immense distress before his death and is now seeking to harm his elder sister.

According to Osebo, if Akofena truly loved his father, he would have respected and supported the people his father cherished. Instead, he claimed that Akofena disliked his father and desired his downfall.

He further alleged that after assuming influence within the Kristo Asafo Mission, Akofena removed individuals whom Dr Apostle Kwadwo Safo had entrusted with leadership positions and replaced them with people he described as corrupt and wicked.

The fashion icon also accused Akofena of portraying himself on social media as a righteous and virtuous person, while insisting that his true character is different.

“You come to social media and deceive people into thinking you’re as pure as God or an angel. But if there is anyone who can be described as the devil on earth, it is Kwadwo Akofena. Kwadwo, what exactly do you want in this world? You troubled your father until his death, and now you want to kill your own elder sister too?” Osebo said.

He further claimed that Ghanaians would eventually come to know Akofena’s true character and that he would regret his actions when that time comes.

Osebo also alleged that many members of the Kristo Asafo Mission know Akofena to be wicked and dishonest. He went on to describe him as “satan on earth,” claiming that anyone searching for the devil need look no further than Akofena.

Osebo’s comments come after former Dome-Kwabenya MP Sarah Adwoa Safo reportedly sustained injuries during an alleged shooting incident at the residence of her younger brother, Israel Kwadwo Safo, on June 21, 2026.

Reports indicate that the former legislator was at the property when gunshots were fired amid heightened tensions linked to an ongoing leadership succession dispute within the Kristo Asafo movement following the death of its founder, Dr Apostle Kwadwo Safo.

It has been alleged that armed individuals opened fire during a gathering reportedly organised in support of efforts to install Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena as successor to the late founder.
