Uphold Kufuor’s Legacy of Free Speech – Daniel Teikoh Urges President Mahama

A member of the NPP communications team, Daniel Teikoh has called on President John Dramani Mahama to uphold freedom of speech, describing it as one of former President John Agyekum Kufuor’s greatest legacies.

Speaking in an interview on the Wontumi Morning Show with Oheneba Nana Asiedu, Mr. Teikoh claimed that many Ghanaians are disappointed in the current administration and believe the government has failed to deliver on its campaign promises.

According to him, some citizens are looking to former Vice President and NPP flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, for leadership and support.

Mr. Teikoh also alleged that victimisation has become widespread since the NDC returned to power and referenced comments he attributed to President Mahama regarding the tracing of individuals through their IP addresses.

“Ghanaians must be free to criticise any government that is not performing to expectations,” he stated.

He further maintained that the NPP remains committed to Ghana’s peace and stability and urged the government to protect the democratic rights of all citizens.
