The language Being Used In The Courtroom Is worrisome, doesn’t show fairness- Chairman Wontumi’s lawyer

Lawyer Andy Appiah Kubi has expressed concern about the language being used in court proceedings involving Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, arguing that it raises questions about fairness and impartiality.

‎”Since I have withdrawn as legal counsel for Chairman Wontumi, i will not be responsible for filing any witness submissions on his behalf; the responsibility will now fall to any new lawyer engaged by Chairman Wontumi”.

‎”Some of the statements made by the court during proceedings suggested a predetermined position on the case.”

According to Lawyer Andy Appiah Kubi, the court’s remark that “if only the witness submission were legitimate” gave the impression that a decision had already been made against Chairman Wontumi.

‎”Chairman Wontumi retains the right to appoint another legal representative to continue defending him in his ongoing court cases”.
