50- Year- Old Death Trap Storm Drain @ Tafo Fixed- Assembly Member Reveals
Assembly Member for Tafo- Ahenbronum, Hon. Albert Twum has said that, President Akufo-Addo has honoured residents of Tafo for fixing the 50-year-old death trap storm drain.
He said that, the death trap storm drain was the area’s biggest challenge.
Speaking on Wontumi Radio/TV’s Morning Show in Kumasi, he indicated that, the past governments failed to address the deadly situation but Nana Akufo-Addo’s administration has solved it.
“The drain led to a destruction of many Infrastructural projects,” he bemoaned.
He said that, more of the poor road networks in the vicinity were fixed in President Akufo-Addo’s first term.
“The traffic congestion from Mamponteng- Pankrono stretch is now a thing of the past.” He said
Hon. Twum emphasized that, by the end of this year, Tafo-Ahenbronum would be given a massive facelift.
According to him, security issue is the major plight of the area.
He thereby appealed to the Police to beef up the security in the area.
