250 Bed Capacity Sewua Hospital Facility To Be Completed In May- Engineer Assures
The Engineer for the Sewua Regional Hospital facility in the Bosomtwe Constituency of the Ashanti Region, Mr. Farouk has assured that, the hospital project in the vicinity would be completed in May 2021.
According to him, the hospital facility will have bed capacity of 250.
He told Nana Owusu Achiaw when the Ashanti Regional Minister-Designate, Hon. Simon Osei Mensah’s visited the area to inspect the progress of work on the hospital project on day two of his tour.
He continued that, the hospital will have 2 km of inner roads.
“Some of the facilities the hospital will acquire include clinics, mortuary, infectious disease center, out patient department, sick babies department, premature babies department etc.”
Mr. Farouk revealed that the challenge of the project is electricity and water supply system.
He said that he is hopeful the problems would be solved before the Sewua Regional Hospital is completed in May.
For his part, Nana Amankwaa Sarkodie II lavished praises on Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and President Akufo-Addo for helping Sewua to secure a Regional Hospital.
“Everybody should be calm. The hospital would be completed very soon.” The District Chief Executive of Bosomtwe Constituency, Hon. Lawyer Joseph Assuming noted.
