Stress, blood pressure and issues related to kidney failures will be on the rise if Mahama’s 24-hour economy plan is accepted, lawyer Maurice Ampaw has said.
Speaking on Wontumi TV monitored by Wontumionline.com, the celebrated lawyer stated that the 24-hour economy “will bring stress, then bp, then kidneys will shut down because we will not be having enough rest”.
Former President and flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has been trumpeting a 24-hour economy that he believes will breathe fresh life into the ailing Ghanaian economy.
But Maurice Ampaw disagrees and says it will rather worsen our health and have implication on it because there will be less sleep.
In his view, it will only lead to “only chilling around” and no hard work.
