Renowned journalist Gordon Asare-Bediako, has downgraded the credibility of Fitch Solutions after uncovering that the research house is depending solely on Mussa Dankwah’s findings to forecast Ghana’s 2024 general elections.
Speaking on Movement TV’s political analysis show last Saturday, Gordon Asare-Bediako stated that instead of working on their research, Fitch is rather using the findings of Global InfoAnalytics to predict the winner of the impending elections.
In his view, Fitch Solution is using the findings of Mussa Dankwah’s Global InfoAnalytics as a “baseline” for their projection.
He believes the approach and development would weaken the credibility of Fitch Solutions due to the numerous flaws and bias contained in the work of Global InfoAnalytics.
He posited that the latest work by Fitch shows that they have “stopped conducting research” and are now into “aggregating” publications of others.
