Respected pollster and managing news editor of the Daily Dispatch newspaper, Ben Ephson, is predicting the 2024 general election is going to be a difficult one.
“Anybody who says it is a done deal, I don’t know the type of glasses he is wearing. This year’s election is going to very difficult”, he simply put.
In an interview with Oheneba Nana Asiedu on the Wontumi Morning Show, Mr. Ephson explained that the difficulties attached to the election, has even slowed down the flagbearer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) from naming his running mate.
According to him, the party is in a dilemma and knows very well that if they fail to name Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang as the running mate to Mr. John Mahama, the Central region will reject them in 2024.
“That is why the NDC has difficulty selecting a running mate. Central region will reject them if they leave out Naana”, he said.
