President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has reportedly sworn into office, two new Justices of the Supreme Court of Ghana. According to starrfm.com.gh, the two new Justices were Justice Barbara Frances Ackah-Yensu and Justice Samuel Kwame Adibu Asiedu. Russia has banned oil sales to countries and companies that comply with a price cap agreed by Western nations earlier this month. Ghanaian banks could face significant pressure on their capitalisation due to the restructuring of local-currency (LC) sovereign debt, Fitch Ratings says. Fitch believes banks will suffer large economic losses when they exchange their existing debt for new bonds with lower coupons and longer tenors.
