Gov’t/GETFUND Settles Over GHC 600 Million Debts To Contractors

Government through the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFUND) has settled outstanding debts owed contractors to the sum of over GHC 600 million as of November 2022. This was in fulfilment of a promise made by GETFUND at a Stakeholder Engagement Forum organized by the Fund on Tuesday, November 8. The Bank of England has unveiled its first banknotes featuring King Charles III, following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
