2020 Olympics: Govt Announces Reward For Medal Winners The Minister of Youth and Sports, Mustapha Ussif has confirmed that the state will pay out a financial reward to any Ghanaian athlete that wins a medal at the ongoing Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan. The Minister told Graphic Online's Kweku Zurek that per the reward scheme, gold medal winners will receive $5,000, silver medal winners will receive $4,000 and bronze medal winners will receive $3,000.
