Asante Kotoko SC close to signing Uganda Premier League top scorer Stephen Dese Mukwala

Asante Kotoko SC are close to signing striker Stephen Dese Mukwala ahead of the 2020/2021 season, GHANAsoccernet.com can report. Mukwala who plays for Uganda giants Vipers SC will join the Porcupine Warriors once an agreement is reached between the two clubs. The 21-year-old highly rated striker spent last season at Maroons FC where he was crowned top scorer of the Uganda Premier League. Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has cut short his 4-day campaign tour of the Greater Accra Region and is currently in the North East Region to commiserate with victims of  devastating floods that hit three communities in the West Mamprusi Municipality on Thursday. Dr Bawumia's campaign was due to end today October 2, 2020, but he had to visit his home region to ascertain the extent of damage and provide support for the thousands of flood victims.
