2020 Elections To Expose ‘Weak Politicians’- GCPP Chairman
The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the Great Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP), Kofi Owusu Omar, has stated that, the December polls would be a comparison of achievements which would expose the “weak politicians.”
He added that, the election would also expose the weak running mates.
Participating on Wontumi Morning Show which was aired simultaneously on Wontumi Radio and TV, he said that, Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang cannot match Dr. Bawumia on any day not to talk of John Mahama.
According to him, when Bawumia speaks, it leaves the flagbearer of NDC in a state of tenterhooks adding that it takes about five months for John Mahama to revert to a question that Dr. Bawumia will question him.
Chairman Omar said that, Dr. Bawumia is changing the world in terms of politics.
Touching on the NPP government’s achievements he said that, their achievements are not in a green book rather physical achievements.
“Now you can witness all the projects the government has done in every sector of the economy by logging onto the delivery tracker website.” Chairman Omar noted.
He told Oheneba Nana Asiedu, host of the programme that, President Akufo-Addo has been loyal to Dr. Bawumia.
He explained that, Nana Akufo-Addo has allowed the Vice President to perform most of the government works unlike some President who never allowed his Vice to perform a single work.
Chairman Omar however cautioned John Mahama not to compare his eight years achievements to that of Nana Akufo-Addo’s three and a half years else it would be disastrous for him.
