The Ministry of Roads and Highways has responded to an allegation by Prof. Stephen Adei that persons seeking road contracts are told to pay 1 million upfront before they are given roads to work on.
The ministry deems the allegation criminal and for that reason, has requested the Executive Director of the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) to fully investigate the matter.
