Renowned broadcast journalist, Dasebre Agyei Dwamena, has lambasted Hannah Bissiw for her recent remarks, describing them as “foolish” and “misguided”.
Dwamena took strong exception to Bissiw’s scathing criticism of the National Peace Council, labeling it a “useless entity”.
He argued that such statements demonstrate a lack of understanding of the council’s critical role in promoting peace and stability in Ghana.
Furthermore, Dwamena chided Bissiw for demanding an apology from Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia for stating that he cannot make decisions as a mate. Dwamena explained that mates do not have the authority to make decisions independently, and Bissiw’s request was “naive” and “uninformed”.
Dwamena also recalled Bissiw’s previous controversial statement that medical drones would be used to spy on women in bathrooms, citing it as an example of the opposition party’s “myopic thinking” and “lack of vision”.
The journalist emphasized the need for accountability and responsible public discourse, urging that Hannah Bissiw and her party be called to order for their “unbecoming behavior” and “reckless statements”. He stressed that such comments have the potential to undermine Ghana’s democratic progress and stability.
