Your Cane Is Being Soaked In ‘Kerosene’- Fati Abubakar Cautions Mahama’s New CJ

Prosperity wouldn’t be kind to any judge who agrees to fill the shoes of Chief Justice Gertrude Araba Torkornoo after she has been political crucified by the Mahama led government, Fatimatu Abubakar has cautioned.

The former Minister of Information stated in an interview on Movement TV that in the future, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) would ensure whoever President John Mahama appoints as Chief Justice, is treated the same way Chief Justice Gertrude Araba Torkornoo has been subjected to.

According to her, a “cane has been soaked in kerosene” and would be specifically used on any Chief Justice to be named by President John Mahama.

Drawing inspiration from the popular Akan proverb ‘abaa a wɔde bɔɔ Takyi , ɛno ara na wɔde bɔ Baah’ to wit ‘what’s good for the goose, is also good for the gander’ Fati Abubakar called on President Mahama to quell and trash the petition against Chief Justice Torkornoo.
