The decision by the minority in Parliament to fight government over E-Levy has received disapproval from the Bono East regional Secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. David Boakye.
The NPP officer believes the same energy that was used by the minority in fighting the E-levy should have been shown when government gave them $28million for new Toyota V8s.
“When government gave them $28million they didn’t comment about it. None of them said it is too much so government should keep part of the money”, Mr. Boakye said on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.
Adding that they should have “stood up against government when $28 million was given to them for their V8s.”
He emphatically stated that the introduction of the E-levy would bring development to Ghanaians and shouldn’t have been rubbished by the minority.
