The Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has expressed shock over the lack of personal investment Gyakye Quayson has at Assin North.
The NPP Chairman popularly known as Chairman Wontumi disclosed that he was expecting to see investments funded by the National Democratic Congress’ (NDCs’) parliament candidate for Assin North in the area but is yet to see any.
Speaking to some constituents at a beautician shop, Chairman Wontumi was heard rhetorically asking them “so he (Gyakye Quayson) stayed in Canada for 45 years and Charles Opoku is just 40 years. This means when he left Ghana, Charles wasn’t even born. But he doesn’t even have a lotto kiosk or his own house here”.
