The government of former President John Dramani Mahama didn’t even have an Economic Management Team (EMT), Chairman Wontumi has pointed out.
The Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has explained that it was rather “mascots” Mr. Mahama appointed to work on Ghana’s economy when he rather needed “serious brains” to be at work.
In an interview with Wontumionline.com, Chairman Wontumi added that there wouldn’t be ‘dumsor’ to kill indigenous businesses if Mr. Mahama had an EMT to handle the economy just as Vice President Bawumia is doing for President Akufo-Addo.
He therefore challenged the 2020 flagbearer for the NDC to name members of his EMT.
