You Can’t Dictate To Anybody; You’re Destroying NPP- Daasebre To Kennedy Agyapong
One strong media personality standing up to Kennedy Agyapong and telling him to slow down with some of his utterances is Daasebre Agyei Dwamena.
The radio and TV presenter called out Kennedy Agyapong for making utterances he believes is dividing and destroying the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Sharing his opinion on the Movement in the Morning Political Show, Daasebre Agyei Dwamena argued that the antics of Kennedy Agyapong deployed in the NPP’s ‘Thank You Tour’, is divisive.
“If NPP doesn’t muster courage to tell Kennedy Agyapong that he is destroying our party, it will get to a point we can’t build it back. Why are we allowing a single individual to overshadow everything good about the party?” he asked.
“He behaves as if he is the only person with the right to talk in the party. We don’t build a party that way. He can’t dictate to the NPP because when the party was being formed, he wasn’t anywhere to be found”, he said.
During the party’s ‘Thank You Tour’ at in Berekum in the Bono Region, Kennedy criticised Kwame Baffoe Abronye who, according to him, failed to contribute financially to the party but act as though he was superior to others.
“Nobody is a better man than the other, but because of this party, some people talk as if they are men. They are not men but women. When it comes to monetary contributions, they cannot partake in it.
“They have to go and beg, yet they talk as if the whole world is for them. If not for the sake of unity, some of them cannot even speak the way they speak because they are even shy coming to my house,” Kennedy said.
But Daasebre Agyei Dwamena advised Kennedy to hasten slowly by referencing him to Proverbs 28 vrs 11 which states “A rich man is wise in his own eyes, but a poor man with discernment sees through him.”
