NPP Isn’t A Football Team, You Can’t Buy People With Money To Join – Gordon Tells Kennedy Agyapong

Seasoned broadcast journalist, Gordon Asare-Bediako, has reacted to a vile jab by Kennedy Agyapong to Abronye that despite failing to contribute financially to the New Patriotic Party he acts as though he is superior to others.

Gordon Asare-Bediako stated on Movement TV that a political party can’t be likened to a football team where money plays a pivotal role in the type of players bought to join the tea.

“Money is good but people who make up a party can’t be bought with money like it happens in football. Who in the NPP can say he used money to buy someone from another political party, you can’t find one”, he said.

A fracas broke out between Kennedy Agyapong and the Bono regional Chairman of the NPP, Kwame Baffoe Abronye during the party’s ‘Thank You Tour’ at Berekum in the Bono Region yesterday.

The sad development triggered Gordon to advice all presidential aspirants to be of good behaviour since people are watching their public engagements with eagle eyes.

“Being 40 years and above is not the only qualification to be President” he said before adding that there are other traits people look out for “like emotional intelligence and how you conduct yourself in public”.
