The former communications director for the New Patriotic Party, Dr Adomako Baafi has admonished young people to chase their dreams regardless of their background. Speaking on Movement morning show, he debunked the theory of “the classroom makes you rich belief.”
The largely accepted belief of success is sitting in the classroom almost half of your life, and if one is unable to go to school then it means they cannot become who they want to be. And that has been the belief system since time immemorial, but there are few people who have challenged the narrative notwithstanding their background and Chairman Wontumi is one of the living legends who have gone beyond the odd to change the existing narrative of “go to the big schools before you can succeed.”
“I am proud to have witness his growth and progress and I have excited to testify of the glory of God and his hard work” he added
Chairman Wontumi is a proof of “from grass to grace.”
