Retired Commission of the Ghana Police Service, Nathan Kofi Boakye, has been strongly warned by a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to desist from offering coaching services to people on how to orchestrate violence in the Ashanti region.
Kwaku Atta mentioned in an interview on Wontumi TV that the former Police capo is responsible for training some member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on how to start violence during the elections.
“We are sending this warning to you. You used to be a property of the state but now, you are no more”, Kwaku Atta said to paint a picture of how Kofi Boakye would be dealt with if he tries to step on the toes of the NPP in Ashanti region.
He went on to tell the retired Commission of Police to put a stop to the things he is doing. “You better put a stop to the things you are doing”, he said.
“DCOP Nathan Kofi Boakye- the one who was dismissed from the police service and was later recalled. The one who wanted to be IGP and the person who refused him the IGP position has done a good job. The kind of things he is doing now, as organizers of the party in this region we don’t joke. The people he thinks he is dealing with are all our boys. The things he tells them, they come and report them to us. They shouldn’t try”, he said.
