Write Papers With Your Future In Mind —- Mama Pat Tells BECE Candidates.

The Member of Parliament for Asokwa,  Madam Patricia Appiagyei has tasked Basic Education Certificate Examination candidates (BECE) to approach their upcoming final exams with the future in mind by writing purposely to pass so that they can continue their education to the next level.

Madam Appiagyei said with this mindset every candidate would be interested in doing his or her best in the impending examination.

Addressing all registered and qualified candidates in Asokwa in the company of Asokwa NPP executives and assembly members at four centers of Kaase MA school, Ahinsan Mt Zion Methodist, Kumasi High School and Bethel Presby- Atonsu, all suburbs of Asokwa where she distributed mathematical sets and pencils, the female lawmaker said the exams are crucial for the growth and future development of JHS students across the country.

She therefore urged the pupils to give off their best in the exams by apportioning good timelines for the number of questions to answer in a particular subject.

“Just look at me and see your future as so and as you sit on Monday for the papers do your best knowing that you would have the opportunity to further your education when you excel because Nana Addo has made Senior High School free of charge”, the Asokwa MP encouraged the pupils.

FUTURE CAREER:
Madam Appiagyei also advised the pupils against promiscuous lifestyles after their examinations next week Friday.

She noted that no one gains maturity after completing JHS but rather the subsequent years after Senior High School and university levels.

Using herself as an example, Madam Appiagyei revealed that even after elementary school she had to help her parents by selling iced water to earn some little money for the next level.

This, she noted helped her to get exposed to some lifetime experiences.

“You will not be fully mature after JHS or SHS to engage in promiscuous lifestyles but rather give yourselves to education and you would become useful persons for your family and the society at large”, Madam Appiagyei posited.

DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION:
Reverend Ebenezer Oteng Marfo, Asokwa Municipal Director of Education also encouraged the pupils to occupy themselves with past questions as they take the next three days to prepare for the upcoming BECE.

He noted that past questions as well as the earlier mock exams they undertook in school are to serve as guide for the upcoming exams.

APPRECIATION:
Showing appreciation to the MP, Master Vincent Oppong, 14 year old pupil at the Kaase MA JHS thanked the Asokwa MP for the mathematical sets and pencils.

Louisa Amoaning, 13 year old pupil at Joy Standard School said she was blessed with the admonition of Madam Appiagyei and noted that she would want to be like the famous Asokwa legislator in her future life.
