The deputy Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP), in the Ablekuma North constituency, Nana Adofo Ofori, has applauded former General Secretary of the party John Boadu for availing himself to work assiduously to ensure NPP breaks the eight year jinx even after losing the General Secretary position.
According to him, with John Boadu’s expertise and experience considering the several roles he has played in the party, breaking the eight year jinx by the NPP will be realized.
He made this known on Movement In The Morning Show on Wontumi Radio/Movement TV with Kwaku Dawuro.
This comes a day after the former General Secretary said he believes in the abilities of the new national executives of the party to win the 2024 elections and therefore should be supported to achieve the feet ahead of them.
In a press statement issued on Sunday, July 24, he said he had called them to assure them of his unflinching support, stressing that he will not deny the party the immense investment it has made in him.
“I have full confidence in their ability to steer the affairs of the party to make history by winning the 2024 general elections”, the statement said.
“Once again, congratulations to the Ntim-Kodua led national executive officers. May you lead this party to greatness and fulfill the wishes and aspirations of our People,” he stressed in the press statement.
