“Corruption is everywhere, even the white is corrupt. Corruption begins right from childbirth” A member of the New Patriotic Party’s communication team, who also doubles as the deputy director for Dr. Bawumia’s campaign team has stated.
According to him, corruption is prevalent in our daily lives through socio cultural activities.
“Corruption is part of our daily lives. You cannot go to the chief’s Palace empty handed. You must either go with a Schnapp, or something different. If you are eating with your children, and one of them takes a portion of your food instead of his, is it not corruption? He quizzed.
Speaking with Oheneba Nana Asiedu on Wontumi TV, on 9th April, 2024, he was passionate about the digitalization policy initiated by the Veep, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
He is of the conviction that, the thriving digitalization policy is the best way to combat corruption.
“Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) is now paperless. Its processes are virtual (online). You need not to go their office to be charged an amount of money before your problem can be solved. Digitalization has halted all these corrupt activities.
National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), Driver and Vehicles Licensing Authority (DVLA), and almost all sectors are paperless due to digitalization” Mr Baafi added.
