The YouStart program is a vehicle through which the government intends to provide funding and technical support to youth and youth-led businesses to assist them to start, build and grow with their businesses.
Government on Monday 14/11/2022 launched and opened the YouStart application portal.
In an interview on Wontumi TV Morning Show, the Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship & Innovation Program (NEIP) Kofi Ofosu Nkansah said the youth between the ages of 18 and 40 qualify for the program.
Kofi Ofosu Nkansah said the minimum academic qualification is Basic Certificate Examination (BECE).

He indicated that qualified applicants will be trained for 15 days.
The NEIP Chief Executive Officer hinted that phase 1 of the program is the grant of money to the applicants.
“The money is not refundable,” he revealed.
Kofi Ofosu Nkansah disclosed that any commercially viable business qualifies for the program.
