A staunch member of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Ralph Osei-Wusu has slammed members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for allowing Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia to take them for a ride.
He has asked the intellectuals in the party to rise and stop their newly elected national Chairman popularly known as General Mosquito from dictating to them using boorish methods.
Speaking on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, Mr. Ralph Osei-Wusu made reference to the revelation by General Mosquito that when they petitioned the Supreme Court in 2021, they had no evidence but just went there to try their luck.
General Mosquito confirmed that the party could not collate its electoral results in the 2020 elections.
According to him, the collation system crashed five minutes after it went live and the party started collating electoral results.
He made this known while speaking to delegates during one of his campaign tours.
“We appointed Griffith who was recommended by Chairman Ofosu Ampofo. He designed our collations software for the 2020 elections. The software crashed after collating five regions so that is why we did not get the results to challenge the Electoral Commission. We could only collate five regions,” he said.
He continued “we knew that Akufo-Addo didn’t win the first round of the elections considering the figures from each region, however, we did not have evidence to support our claim because the system crashed”.
Condemning the act, Mr. Ralph Osei-Wusu stated that “the intellectuals in NDC shouldn’t sit down for Asiedu Nketia and co to take them for granted. People like him are a disgrace to all politicians. He knew it was an exercise in futility for them to go to court but they still went there.”
