A former General Secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Kwabena Agyapong, has opened up on the pain caused him when stories were fabricated that Mr. Ibrahim Mahama bought him a 4×4 vehicle to influence him to sabotage the NPP.
The story, coupled with other events led to Mr. Agyapong being forced to resign from office. Opening up on Wontumi TV, the former NPP chief scribe explained that he has personally built his fortune and didn’t need a 4×4 car from Ibrahim Mahama to make his life comfortable.
He explained that he once shared an office space with Ibrahim Mahama and during that time, “I was riding in my BMW and Ibrahim Mahama used to come to work with a motorbike”.
According to him his time as a former Press Secretary to former President John Kufuor and a trained Civil Engineer, made him save enough to buy his own cars and build his house.
“I have built my own career but people said Ibrahim Mahama has bought a 4×4 for me”, Mr. Agyapong decried on TV.
